How To Use The Business Profit Calculator
This is a powerful tool that allows you to instantly see how small changes and improvements in six key areas of your business can have a significant impact on your turnover and profit.
Starting is really simple. Set the numbers you have currently, the monthly quotes issued, the current conversion rate, average transaction/sale value, and the average number of sales per month from those clients. Then set your gross profit margin and finally the FIXED overheads for the month.
You'll now see how many customers are won, what value is new job revenue or repeat and return in the month. You'll see your total revenue, gross profit and breakeven point. In green you'll see your net profit and annual profit and some annualised figures at the bottom.
Now you can adjust the input levers to see what you need to improve to hit the turnover and profit targets.
