The Group Programme Content
The group programme comprises of eight modules, delivered once a month for eight months. Each online session lasts around an hour and a half. The content is designed to get you, and your business prepared for a profitable exit.
The real work, however, is not done during the sessions, but in between them.
Exit Planning is not easy and if you’re expecting your business to magically become sellable for top dollar simply by attending a 90-minute workshop once a month, then this course is absolutely not for you.
Month 1 – The Growth Curve
The Growth Curve is a look into the past and the future. Where your business has been, where it is, and, most importantly, where it’s going. We look at 3-5 years in the past, your current year, and your Growth Potential for the next 3-5 years.
Month 2 – Valuation and Your Exit Timeline
In month 2 we move onto your business value and valuation and a identify a realistic selling price. We’ll look at ways to improve that valuation before moving onto your Exit Timeline. This may change should you discover your business is not worth what your mate in the pub had indicated. It happens!!!
Month 3 – Profit and Value Factors
It’s all about profit, so this month we start to get super serious on that and all the value factors that can influence profit in both a positive and negative manner. We’ll also dive into the bonus section of the book “Go To $ell” and share the 20 points that you may THINK are attractive to a buyer, but in reality, are the opposite.
Month 4 – Systems, Processes and Finances (part one)
By month four your exit dream should be progressing well. This is where we start to pull apart your systems and processes and look at the finances and numbers that go well beyond the balance sheet. It’s this area where Due Diligence is likely to focus on the most.
Month 5 – Your Differentiator & The Disruptive Co-Efficient
Your business will be attractive to a buyer the more Differentiators you have. The more your business stands out, the more excited buyers become. This month we have a bit of fun exploring what makes your business REALLY stand out, how you leave competitors wondering what happened, and how your business, with a new buyer, can DISRUPT the industry.
Month 6 - Systems, Processes and Finances (part two)
This month we return to Systems and Finances. You should now be fully aware of where your strengths and weaknesses are and be well on your way to a structured plan to work on improvements.
Month 7 – Kill Bill & Removing the Barriers
We’re getting close to the end of the programme now. It’s now time to see how reliant, or otherwise, your business is on you. Do you have the right structure, robust systems and a business that can run with out you? We’re going to “Kill Bill” and find out…. We’ll also look at the “Barriers” you may have in your business, and before you say NONE, you do…
Month 8 – Due Diligence
We’re on the home straight now, so in month eight it’s about Due Diligence. What it is, how to prepare for it, and how to make this as stress free as it can be. Due Diligence comes at the end of the sales process, so it’s huge. You don’t want a deal falling at the last hurdle… so we prepare, and it’s not going to be easy.
Month 9 – The Bonus Workshop – Goal Setting
Not part of the Junction Twenty programme, but a BONUS module to make sure you have your plan and goals set – this is where the magic happens. Have this one on us.
